Good Morning
Good Morning Cali,
I guess it's time. It's Monday and all those who work hate today. The first day back to work after a nice weekend. But then there is the bright side, 4 days till Friday, where once again you can go out and do what you want, sleep in, late, do anything your little heart desires.
As for me, today is one day closer to surgery, Still not nervous about it and maybe will not be. I am becoming a professional patient. I just hate being put under, it scares me, and the reason is, I don't have control over it, someone else is. I know that the chances are slim and I do this everytime I have surgery. Actually the worst thing about this, is getting an IV started. I am not an easy stick and they always have to do it more than once. Yuck!
SO for all of those people who don't work, I know it's a minority, what are you doing today? You know my routine, nothing, just sitting and more sitting. I spoke to Michelle last night, and she is working on walking alot, but still no passing of gas. How frustrating, so keep them passing gas prayers going. I believe she is going to be coming home from San Diego today too. Have an easy ride home Michelle!

As I type I have a cat that has decided to wrap herself around my neck . . . its to dang hot for this! she used to be able to do that and rest on my boobs . . .hummm. . . since everything has gone south .. .she is thinking she needs to use her nails to hand on . .. ouch!
I'm only working 3 days this week . . .and then camping . . .I need this so badly . . . can't wait!!!!
My friend called me last week and said "I need you to do me a favor" . . .I said ok . . what'ca need. She said "just say yes" . . . so I did . .. she said "good - I just booked us for a cruisetour to Alaska for May . . . we're going all the way to the Artic Circle!" and half an hour later she said "and we have plane tickets too" . . . O M G . . . this is unbelievable! Talk about EXCITED! WOW . . . so we explore Alaska for a week . . . and then cruise for a week . . . BLISSSSSSS!

If you want good places to go in Alaska in Anchorage, or down to Homer, let me know. I used to go up there about 3-4 times per year for work. Got great places to see, eat and enjoy. If you haven't been there before, you're going to love it, love it, love it. May is an excellent time to go too.

Good morning Cali,
Well I will be off to Petaluma in a few hours. Did not really accomplish much this weekend except laundry and repacking. DH is still on the hunt for a job and is getting discouraged. There are so many people out there and every day its get worse! So say a prayer is sees a job posting this week!

Good Morning Calif......
With DD not being home, its hard to for me to get near the computer, having to take care of all 5 of kids. (3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 turtle) It takes me 20 minutes just to feed and dole out medication. UGH! I am so not a mother. I almost forget the meds yesterday and I had to come back in to complete that task. Then this morning, or last night, I forgot to set up my coffee pot so I have NO COFFEE this morning. I think just for that, I should call in sick, and go back to bed, and start this morning over in a few hours.. Right now, all 3 of the dog are trying to help me type, which by myself, sucks, and with them helping..........well we wont go there....
OK time to pack my lunch, pass out meds and head out the door and start my day. YEA!!!!!!!!! Today is my friday, so I get to sleep in tomorrow.
Hey, who has been watching that date in the dark??? I think that is so cute. Its on tonight, at either 8 or 9 on channel 7 ABC. If you have no****ched before try to watch to night.

You should have called I was up (had to watch HGTV Design Star next) and so excited. Even Mike asked me when it was over who won and when I told him he said good. She's very likable. I liked the guy, but sometimes I found him a little boring. She is just so easy to relate to and I have a feeling she'll have some good things for us to try out that even a kitchen idiot like myself can do.
Ooooo 19 days, but who's counting. Ummmm ME!! Hurry up!!!!! I am soooo looking forward to it and soooooo need it.

Well if you fall asleep, then I don't have to make pleasant conversation. I can just sit there, watch you sleep and maybe get in a little snooze time of my own.
Friday I do have a treatment at Loma Linda at 4PM. I probably won't get out of there until close to 7PM. Once they get me in there and put that needle in my arm, I'm stuck literally and figuratively for about 3 hours. But I will try to come by on Thursday night around 6 or 7. Probably closer to 7, until Mike gets home from work. We won't stay long. Just long enough to be annoying. But I'll call first to be sure you are up to visitors. I do know that for me, when I had my surgery in March, the day of surgery I was not the happiest of campers and didn't want any visitors. But I'm the type who never wants visitors when I'm in the hospital.
Anyway, I'll talk to you or Dougie on Thursday.
